  Halo Plus Rechargeable Signalling Lamp

In today's safety conscious environment, personal safety is of paramount importance. No more so than when working on-track. The HP11R3RT has been developed to meet the strictest safety specifications and to set new standards in personal signalling safety on today's railway networks. Using the very latest technology in High Output Light Emitting Diode Arrays, the HP11R3RT offers precise colour matching to BS1376 "Class B" colour output - Signal Red, Signal Green and Signal Yellow. Each array has multiple LED's, considerably reducing the risk of complete lamp failure through a single filament bulb blowing. Weighing in at just 400 grammes including batteries, power to the HP11R3RT is achieved through modern battery monitoring technology and high capacity rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride cells. Readily available "off the shelf" alkaline "C" size cells may also be used to power the torch. A range of mains and in-vehicle chargers complement the HP11R3RT whilst a low battery indicator is provided as standard to alert the user to a low battery condition. By using the HP41 carriage bracket (*), the HP11R3RT may be used as an emergency lantern for tail or headlight indication on rail vehicles. The HP11R3RT may also be carried in the traditional way by using the HP42 hand bracket (*).
